In the rapid development of today’s energy industry, nuclear power, as a clean and efficient form of energy, is gradually becoming the focus of global attention. In this field, flowmeters are key monitoring equipment and their role is indispensable. Flowmeters can not only accurately measure the cooling liquid flow of nuclear power plants to ensure the normal operation of nuclear reactors, but also provide strong guarantees for the safe operation of nuclear power plants.
Our company is well aware of this. Since 1958, it has been committed to the research and development and manufacturing of oval gear flowmeters. At the end of the 20th century, our oval gear flowmeters began to be installed and used in Qinshan Nuclear Power Plant. After nearly 30 years of precipitation, we have deep technical precipitation and innovation in the nuclear power industry. At present, the oval gear flowmeters used in nuclear power plants are basically our company’s products. In addition to oval gear flowmeters, the company has also successfully applied vortex flowmeters to the liquid metering field of nuclear power plants. This innovative measure not only broadens the company’s product line, but also provides more options for the safe operation of nuclear power plants. Both products have passed the acceptance of the national nuclear power instrument localization project. Our company also won the third prize for the localization research and development and application of primary instruments in the CPR1000 project.
The company edited JB/T 9242-2015 “Liquid Volumetric Flowmeter” as the third drafter. The company has 2 invention patents and 4 utility model patents in the field of oval gear flowmeters. The nominal diameter of the company’s products covers from DN10 to DN200, the maximum flow range can reach 340 cubic meters per hour, and the accuracy level is 0.2. Nuclear-grade products have passed nuclear-grade seismic design and radiation resistance tests.
